Happy MLK Day!

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., an American Baptist minister and activist, was the most prominent leader of the civil rights movement from 1954 until his tragic passing in 1968. Since 1986, his birthday has been observed as a federal holiday, dedicated to community service, humanitarian efforts, and fostering interracial cooperation. Dr. King's legacy is also closely connected to the U.S. Fair Housing Act of 1968, a milestone in the fight for equality.

"Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'" - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Let's honor Dr. King's legacy through acts of service. Take time on this day - or in the near future-to give back to your community.
